This special release marks the 20th anniversary of De La Soul's album, "The Grind Date". The LP is available on limited edition splatter vinyl with the original album bolstered with 4 instrumental versions of the leading tracks.

De La Soul was one of the most influential hip-hop groups through the late 80s and are often credited with helping to shape the genre's landscape with their eclectic style, use of sampling, and positive messaging. "The Grind Date" is their sixth studio album, originally released in 2004, and was their final album together until their return 12 years later in 2016. It was a return to form, with critical acclaim they hadn't experienced since their unparalleled run of albums from 1989-1996. The album includes a plethora of featuring artists including MF Doom, Ghostface Killah, Flava Flav and Sean Paul.
